Rosenbauer America’s GREEN Star idle reduction technology designed specifically for use on fire apparatus. Nationally 80% of calls fire departments in the United States respond to annually are non-fire (EMS or stand-by) calls. The range of on-scene idle time varies between 10-45 minutes. The GREEN Star idle reduction technology provides fire departments a 75% fuel savings. This unit supports all NFPA 1901 required electrical devices.
